Well this place is in Tankri, a small time village which is situated on the outskirts of Rewari, in northern state of Haryana and it’s my hometown. It's a small city full of surprises, people are not aware about the treasure this city has and I am trying to find new places here every now and then. But couple of years back I found this place. I could not believe that such a fantastic place could be in Rewari. From that day onwards, I started believing that if I want to explore, then I have to start from here..where I was born.

Well it is interesting that how I found this place, while sitting outside a temple called Barah Patthar, contemplating about various aspects in a remote region of rewari. I was wandering my eyes while enjoying a peaceful time with birds, dogs and cows hogging on grass in a field right next to the temple. I was admiring the beautiful sunset alone in the temple vicinity when I saw a small mountain looking thing probably some 20 kilometers away. I was shocked and stunned to see a mountain which I always wished for in my city. I might sound stupid but I was really happy about it! So after rushing back home I googled about that little mountain at a distant and I was ready the early morning to get-set and explore!

Riding on an activa through surprisingly beautiful villages, I finally reached Tankri, the old style village of narrow lanes.. I started climbing through the rough patches of the hill, this timid hill was no piece of cake and required immense physical strength, but I nailed it! The feeling of being on the top was undoubtedly made me proud of myself.. I could see the green fields when I looked down and blue sky when I looked up. I just climbed a 1200 mt high mountain and I was my own hero then!! I now know how it must have felt when Bear Grylls comes out winning.. I may be exaggerating but YESS!! I was super happy... That place keeps you away from every good and bad memory. You can feel your own existence there..

There is also a small temple on the top of the hill and on the other side was a mysterious tunnel and yes!! It’s a no man’s land!!

Tankri hill gave me a lesson; when you want to explore something, it should be from within first and the path to other will pave its own destined way..
